History

I’ve lived on the Central Coast for a total of more than 17 years now. While I no longer work in the public sector on a full time basis, I still believe it’s important to be involved. My wife, Virginia, was the founder/owner of her own business in Lompoc. As small business owners, we have experienced firsthand the benefits of interacting with the people in the local community. I have served as a director and member of multiple non-profit and public boards and committees, including the United Way of Northern Santa Barbara County, Lompoc Unified School District Career Technical Education Advisory Board, Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce, Lompoc Economic Development Committee, and the Lompoc Tsunami Aquatics Swim Club. These activities gave (and continue to give) me an opportunity to volunteer my time through organizations I believe in and make this community as great as it can be.

One of the charming aspects of living in Lompoc, and on the Central Coast generally, is it’s a collection of small communities. Unlike in the big cities to our north and south, where people get lost in a sea of traffic, I see my clients in the grocery store, the gas station, sporting events, and the hardware store. I understand this community and can work together with you to achieve your goals.
